There he recorded his first songs. In 1960 he met Joe Quijano who recorded him in a salsa charanga mix with Bobby Valentine. Once with this orquestra Paquito became a famous singer who sang from salsa to bolero to guaracha. Paquito performed at the Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade of WNY park events in 2012. He is the father of one of our committee members, Francisco Guzman. We all have you in our prayers Paquito.
