Behind Enemy Lines is a 2001 war film that stars Gene Hackman and Owen Wilson. Wilson plays Lt. Chris Burnett, a naval flight officer that is shot down over a demilitarized zone (a big no-no fly zone) with his partner while on a reconnaissance mission over Bosnia. They are shot down because they photographed mass graves of the local Muslim population that had been killed by the Serbs.
